My old screen has been on for 12 years (!) and it was a iiyama! I am, of course, stayed at this manufacturer, these new slabs AMVA seemed to be full of qualities for the photo, I confirm : it works! The contrast is powerful, without being exacerbated, quite comparable to a good CRT, even without activating the CAB. Settings auto (VGA mode for the geometry are quickly and fall just without worry, I have not had to install under Vista, plug'n'play. After a few trial and error settings, I don't use the ACR or the Overdrive, I adjusted the color like this : R 76, V 95, B100, Lum 32, Ctr 66 on the monitor, and the gamma to 0. 95 on the graphics card, the result seems to be perfectly neutral on the whole range of grays and colors. The colors are faithful, properly saturated without appearing to "Disneyland".
